Topics covered include (but not limited to):

  • Introduction to hairstyling tools such as combs, brushes, fasteners, fillers, rollers and heat styling.
  • Hair preparation techniques including straightening, curling, pinning, teasing
  • Introduction to proper blow-drying techniques
  • Updo styles including classic half-up, the side sweep, modern ponytail with volume, classic and trendy chignon, french twist, variety of braids
